Byron Bay Hinterland Exhibition

This exhibition came about when my gorgeous children were entering pre-school and kindy at Shearwater Steiner School in Mullumbimby. We had just moved down from Brisbane. I loved motherhood and being in toddler land but I was yearning to be creative and get back to my craft, as playdough wasn’t quite cutting it for me.My amazing parents Rina and Fred Genis opened their spectacular home in Possum Creek and helped me transform it into a gallery space. A team of incredible friends and family came together to create a magical day. Three beautiful models Sunita Devi (former miss Fiji) Nicola Avery and Malia Moon, enthralled the crowds wearing the pieces of jewellery. They were assisted by Belinda Bainbridge and Halie Janet who explained the jewellery in detail to the guests. The models were stunningly transformed by my stylist friend Louise Grey. Tambri Housen created incredible photographs of the jewellery collection. Polly Zangger graphically designed my business cards and stunning invitations. My sister lois Genis gave a lovely speech. It was a successful day as many pieces sold and I’ve made lifelong customers and friends.

"When my partner and I decided to get married I contacted Inga and she designed and made both our wedding rings. The process went smoothly despite living interstate. We were very pleased when we first saw our rings only a few days before our wedding and discovered they fitted us perfectly! I love having a unique ring that is strong yet delicate and refined."
